Organised byASIFA-Hollywood (International Animated Film Society), the ANNIE AWARDS are regarded as the global benchmark for animation. Each year, they highlight the artistic and technical excellence of animated productions from around the world: feature films, series, shorts and student projects.
For a graduating film, to be nominated for an Annie Award is a rare honour and recognition by industry professionals. This distinction places the young creators of TRASH alongside the greatest studios and talents in international animation.
TRASH: a collective project of the class of 2024
TRASH was designed as a graduation film by ESMA’s Class of 2024. Produced collectively, it is a perfect illustration of the entire production process for a 3D animation film, from design to post-production.
The team behind the film is made up of : Gregory Bouzid, Maxime Crançon, Robin Delaporte, Matteo Durand, Romain Fleischer, Alexis Le Ral, Margaux Lutz and Fanny Vecchie. Thanks to an impressive level of execution and bold artistic choices, TRASH has won over juries at international festivals and distinguished itself on the world stage.
A career that has already won international acclaim
Prior to its nomination at the Annie Awards, TRASH had already enjoyed considerable success at a number of festivals, accumulating prestigious selections and awards. These include
