The Lab. des Ecoles Créatives develops research and teaching projects on the challenges facing the cultural and creative industries. Impact Month is an annual interdisciplinary seminar inviting researchers and creators to discuss the aesthetic, technological and societal ambitions of the sector.
By examining the multiple interactions between fiction and emotion, Impact Month 2025 proposes to explore the techniques, experiments and stories designed to arouse, share and sometimes act on our emotions.
Through a series of round tables, leading academic and professional experts will discuss this dynamic: how do emotions influence the creation of fiction? And, conversely, how can the narrative and immersive power of fiction become a trigger for collective and individual emotions?
The programme will take place on the 7 Ecoles Créatives campuses: Toulouse, Lyon, Montpellier, Montreal, Rennes, Nantes and Bordeaux throughout the month of May 2025, offering an insight into the role of emotions in fiction.
All theround tables will be available to everyone and can be viewed as replayson our YouTube channel:
