Summarize with:
Five short films from ESMA's 3D Animation and Special Effects programme are now available on Disney+! Seeing these films join the catalogue of such an emblematic platform, associated with the history and excellence of animation, is a wonderful recognition of the artistic and technical level achieved by their production teams.
A global showcase for animation
Since its launch by The Walt Disney Company, Disney+ has established itself as one of the world’s leading platforms for audiovisual distribution. Its catalogue includes films, series and original creations, as well as animated works from a wide range of backgrounds.
Being broadcast on a platform of this scale represents a rare opportunity: films can be seen by viewers from all over the world, in an environment renowned for its high artistic standards and its commitment to animation.
Recognition for the work of our teams
The presence of these short films on Disney+ recognises the quality of the work carried out by their production teams. These films are the fruit of months of design, graphic research, animation and post-production, carried out collectively by the students.
As well as being screened, this also marks the entry of these projects into a new phase in their development, enabling them to reach a much wider audience than that of festivals or specialist screenings.
Swing to the Moon
In the forest, Temi, a little spider, dreams of catching the Moon. She’ll do anything to reach it.
With its gentle atmosphere and delicately staged world, Swing to the Moon evokes perseverance and wonder through a simple, poetic story that is accessible to all audiences.

Marie BORDESSOULE, Adriana BOUISSIE, Nadine DE BOER, Elisa DRIQUE, Chloé LAUZU, Vincent LEVRERO, Solenne MOREAU.
Coquille
In a small French cove, Bernard, a small and egocentric hermit crab, loses his shell. He has to face the dangers of the beach to find a new one. With the help of a strange crab to protect him, the two of them have adventures that will bring them closer together.
A mix of humour and adventure, Coquille features an engaging duo and draws the audience into a fast-paced story inspired by the landscapes of the Mediterranean coastline.
Congratulations to the directors:

Je suis un caillou
Bulle, a young otter, lives with a group of stones that she considers her family. She imagines them to be normal otters, but little by little she becomes aware of their true nature, and has to come to terms with her loneliness.
Through the eyes of its heroine, Je suis un caillou (I am a pebble) offers a sensitive, introspective tale, supported by a mise-en-scène that leaves plenty of room for emotion and contemplation.
Congratulations to the directors:
Mélanie BERTERAUT PLATON, Yasmine BRESSON, Léo COULOMBIER, Nicolas GRONDIN, Maxime LE CHAPELAIN, Louise MASSÉ.
La source des montagnes
The Paccha-Picchus are festive little creatures. Their carefree daily lives are punctuated by the passing of the Mountains, which rise up to lift up their oasis, raising them in a winter climate that they love and which is vital to them. But one day, they stop appearing. The impatience of one of them, KinKo, prompts him to set off in search of them.
With its rich, inventive graphics, La source des montagnes takes readers on an imaginary journey where adventure and discovery take centre stage.
Congratulations to the directors:
Adrien COMMUNIER, Camille DI DIO, Benjamin FRANCOIS, Pierre GORICHON, Briag MALLAT, Marianne MOISY
Œil pour œil
A one-eyed pirate captain makes one attempt after another to steal treasure, each time recruiting a crew just as one-eyed as himself.
With its offbeat tone and sense of gags, Œil pour Œil revisits the world of pirates through a succession of comic situations and a particularly dynamic rhythm.
Congratulations to the directors:
Thomas Boileau, François Briantais, Robin Courtoise, Alan Guimont, Malcolm Hunt, Mathieu Lecroq.
