A true highlight dedicated to video game creation, the ESMA GAME SHOW invites all enthusiasts and curious minds to dive into the heart of gaming:

student game playtests, esports tournaments, creative workshops, professional networking, career exploration, and a behind-the-scenes look at game design.

Friendly, immersive, and interactive, the event offers a unique opportunity to experience video games in a new way—not just as a player, but also as a future creator!

Rennes – Tuesday, April 21 – 9 AM to 6:30 PM

Student Game Demos / Playtests

From 9 AM to 5 PM, continuously:

• Step into the worlds imagined by our students: thrills and epic quests guaranteed!

Creation Workshops

From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM:

• Dive into creation: our workshop puts you in the shoes of a game director.

Esports Tournament

From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

• ATOMIC LAN Tournaments (organized by our students and the Atomic Punch association)
• featuring ROCKET LEAGUE, VALORANT, and indie games from Rennes!

Playformance

At 5:30 PM:

• The Sous les néons association will bring vibrant energy to this edition of the ESMA Game Show with original and immersive performances, at the intersection of visual arts and interactivity. A highlight you won’t want to miss!

Student Game Demos / Playtest

From 10 AM to 5 PM, continuously:

• Dive into the games created by our students! Action, adventure, and RPG quests for all players!

Creative Workshops

From 1 PM to 5 PM

• Experience the creative side: become a director and master texturing like a pro in our workshop!

Esports Tournament

From 1 PM to 5 PM:

• Compete against other players in the Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament, hosted by 2LIVES.
• Registration is required and spots are limited: be sure to fill out the event registration form to confirm your participation.
• The final match will be broadcast and commentated live on a big screen, with prizes up for grabs for the champions!
