DE1s visit TNT in Toulouse

On Thursday 20 December 2012, the Théâtre de la cité de Toulouse (or TNT) opened its doors to 1st year Space Design BTS students.
As part of an educational project based on the scenography of a play, our students visited the two auditoriums, one of which seats 250 people and the other around 900. They were also given access to the sets, backstage and basement areas.
The theatre’s architect, M.SARFATI, imagined it as an immense boat where travel is the key word. This environment is reflected in the sails in the reception area, the bridge crossing the corridor leading to the theatres, and the materials chosen.
