ESMA is proud to announce that Cartagène, the graduation film of the class of 2024, has been selected to participate in the next edition of the New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF). A great recognition of the talent and hard work of our students!

A renowned festival dedicated to young audiences
Created in 1997, the New York International Children’s Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals dedicated to films for young audiences. Taking place every year in New York, it showcases works from all over the world, selected for their originality and their ability to captivate a young audience. Being selected for this competition is a fantastic opportunity for our young graduates, offering them international visibility and recognition by professionals in the sector.
The selection of Cartagène is a testament to the quality of the work produced by our 3D Animation and Special Effects students. This film, which immerses the viewer in a rich visual universe and a poignant story, won over the festival’s selectors.
A great success for a talented team
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the eight students who have brought this project to life with passion and creativity:
Léa BERBACH, Fabien BERNARD, Lou BUISSON, Paola COUTURIER, Marine LA VILLA, Theo NOUARE, Marie PACREAU and Abla SAIGH.
We wish them the best of luck in this great New York adventure! The results will be announced on 16 March 2025.
Good luck to the whole Cartagène team!
