6 ESMA films selected for the Festival Jeunesse en Court in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone

Recognition for ESMA students

The ESMA teams are proud to announce the selection of 6 films made by our students at the Festival Jeunesse en Court in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone.

Now in its 4th year, this festival is entirely devoted to short fiction and animation films, and offers valuable exposure to young talent and their first productions.

The 5 ESMA films, all selected in the Animation category, are as follows:

Suspicious Parcel

Directed by Antoine Carayol, Thomas Garandel, Nicolas Gredelle-Llaurensou, Martin Hoffmann, Célina Malledant, Loïc Nivet, Léo Pennard and Quentin Renoux

Dawn

Directed by Marie Pradeilles, Lucas Jonckheere, Apolline Royer, Noah Mercier, Matthieu Dejoux, Maxime Forestier, Lorys Stora, and YuFang Chang, and recently announced as a selection for the highly prestigious Siggraph

El Dodorado

Directed by Talhia Brom, Emilie Cayre, Dorian Condelis, Solène Corral, Brice Girardin-Faure, Ghita Hsaine, Ambre Kerbrat, Héloïse Ogez and Adrien Lhabitant

L’Armure

Directed by Mathieu De Macedo, Elodie Debos, Lucas Eugène, Mila Jourdan, Adélaïde Langouet, Elisabeth Moreau, Claire Pendelio, and Théo Rubin

Reven

Directed by Hugo Babey, Victor Barreau, Line Bossard, Chloé Hurard, Coralie Monnier, Mathilde Morin, Léna Ripoche, and Tanguy Salaun, who was notably selected for the International Cinema for Change festival.

Les Lucioles

Directed by Mathieu Staropoli, Maïa Xueref, Clémentine Gabard, Ambre Fournier, Loïs Angilella, Léa Faynel, Hannah Gozlan, Emilie Richard and Claire Represa

A festival and meetings full of discoveries

The winners will be announced after the screenings on 13, 14 and 15 June. We can already congratulate all our students, for whom this selection is a wonderful opportunity to highlight their creativity, and underlines the quality of the training offered by ESMA.

During the festival, which will bring together professionals and enthusiasts around original and innovative creations, Camille Lacroix, a former student of ESMA’s 3D Animation Film section (class of 2017) and animator on season 2 of the Arcaneseries , will be speaking about the importance of acting in animation, sharing her experience and advice with the young talent.
