ESMA students' graduation short film will be screened as the first part of the cult film AKIRA, during an exceptional evening at the Cinéma Pathé Toulouse Labège.
A prestigious opening act
As part of its Ciné-Clubafternoons , the Cinéma Pathé Toulouse Labège regularly offers the chance to rediscover animated masterpieces on the big screen. On Sunday 20 April at 9pm, audiences will not only be able to (re)see the legendary AKIRA, but also discover the pre-programme of Vol 666, a short film produced by the talented students of ESMA’s 2024 graduating class.
Being programmed before such a monument of Japanese animation, in a large Pathé theatre open to the general public, is a real recognition of the work of our students. It’s also a great opportunity to showcase the school’s expertise to a passionate audience.

Immediate boarding!
Flight 666 follows the misadventures of Johnny, a compulsive gambler and notorious crook, who embarks on a vacation with his wife Monica that is supposed to be heavenly. But the trip takes an unexpected turn… They find themselves in a demonic casino, where the slightest bet could be fatal.
This film is directed by Julie Corniere, Anselme de Pertat, Killian Derlin, Manon François, Anaïs Lavault, Léo Le Corre, Aliénor Poisson and Lucas Roy.
In addition to Flight 666, the audience will also be able to discover a short film by the PIVAUT school, also a member of the Écoles Créatives.
