MBS (School of Business) and ESMA (École Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques) are formalising an unprecedented partnership with the launch of the Master of Science (MSc) Producer and Entertainment Manager.

A unique partnership serving the creative industries

This hybrid, all-English programme responds to market demands by combining managerial expertise with specialisation in audiovisual production, animation, special effects and video games. This initiative aims to shape a new generation of talent capable of managing projects and adapting to changes in the cultural and creative industries (CCI).

A training programme that meets the needs of the market

With the constant evolution of the ICC, the demand for hybrid profiles, mastering both project management and the specificities of artistic production, continues to grow. The MSc Producer and Entertainment Manager has been designed to meet these needs and prepare students for positions of responsibility in the entertainment sector.

After two years of training, students will be able to manage budgets and lead teams, while at the same time being experts in artistic workflows in fields such as film, animation, special effects (FX) and video games”, explains Dr. Oussama Ammar, Director of Programmes at MBS School of Business.

André Deljarry, President of MBS and the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is delighted with this strategic alliance: “I am delighted that these two fine local schools have come together to create a unique and highly attractive programme

A strategic alliance between management and production

This new programme draws on the complementary expertise of MBS School of Business and ESMA to provide students with optimum educational support. Drawing on these two renowned institutions, it offers an immersive approach with concrete teaching projects and collaborations with major players in the sector.

Aimed at holders of a Bac 3, this MSc is a unique opportunity for those wishing to enter the entertainment industry on a long-term basis. The programme is recognised by the French government and places a strong emphasis on internationalisation, an essential asset in a constantly evolving sector.

“Recruitment is based on interviews. As well as skills, we look for students who show a genuine interest in this sector,” explains Dr Oussama Ammar.

A demanding, multi-sector course

Isabelle Teissedre, ESMA’s Deputy Director of Education, emphasises the originality of this programme: “This is a unique programme, because it trains students with the same high standards on both the management and production sides, and with a multi-sector knowledge that is much in demand today. It enables future professionals to master the processes and challenges of the different types of production in the creative industries, and to keep pace with technological developments and the challenges of responsibility in this sector
