Nicolas Garcia

Nicolas Garcia was one of those students who came to ESMA already qualified in another sector. After obtaining his BTS in Industrial Product Design, he joined ESMA’s MANAA(Applied Arts Level) with the aim of obtaining his BTS/Bachelor in Space Design and finally realising his dream.

During the 2 years he spent at ESMA as part of his Space Design course, he finally got to grips with his favourite subjects: interior architecture, scenography and design.

Teamwork: an added value for Nicolas

What Nicolas remembers about these years is the huge amount of work he had to put in to obtain the famous sesame, his BTS. He also has fond memories of the relationships he forged at the school: “ESMA really gave me the opportunity to meet some of the most interesting people and friends I’ve ever met. In the Space Design BTS, we formed a sort of little family and that’s a priceless feeling!” he says.

Reading these words, it’s tempting to think that he’s fallen into a bit of nostalgia for his student years… But no! He sees them as a real source of inspiration, to better project himself into the future, and continue to develop sharing and teamwork.

Today, as an interior designer working for LB Conception, an agency in Saint-Jory, he mainly designs restaurants and homes. Always keen to learn new things, Nicolas is now giving himself time to gain a little more experience before launching his own interior design agency, a project he hopes to share with friends and family… to share again and again!
