Discover work-study programs

Complete your third year as an apprentice

Because learning by doing is the best way to learn, the final year of the Graphic Design course, with the Digital Communication or Motion Design option, can be taken as an apprenticeship.

The work-study program involves one week at school and three weeks in a company, allowing you to gradually immerse yourself in the professional world. The cost of the training is fully covered by the company. You will also receive support at every stage, including individual coaching, workshops, and a dedicated platform. Everything is in place to help you find your work-study program, successfully integrate into the workplace, and make this experience a real springboard into the professional world.

Validation of the training by a Professional Certification

Titre RNCP39117 Designer Graphique Plurimédia de niveau 6, registered in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles, on 31/05/2024.

Certifying bodies: ETPA-Ecoles Créatives, Ecoles Créatives Montpellier.

Professional certification is obtained byvalidating blocks of skills 1 to 3 + 1 optional block 4 or 5:

  • Block 1: Qualifying and assessing a graphic design request
  • Block 2: Designing a graphic design project
  • Block 3 : Promoting your activity as a graphic designer
  • Block 4 (Digital Communication Option) : Deploy a digital communication system

OR

  • Block 5 (Motion design option) : Producing a motion design project

And the student must have spent at least 4 months in a company (500 hours).

The certification is also accessible by VAE.

The teaching and assessment methods may be adapted to compensate for any disability, in compliance with the RNCP reference framework.

    For who ?

    For all creative types who want to turn their passion for graphic design into a career.

    The first year of the Multimedia Graphic Design professional program can be entered after:

    • A high school diploma or level 4 qualification specializing in applied arts (such as Bac STD2A) or a high school diploma in any subject and a preparatory year in applied arts (such as Prépa Design)
    • Review of academic record, motivational interview, and review of artistic portfolio
    • Entrance exam (creative approach to graphic design)

    Prépa Design is recommended for admission to this program. Admission to the second year is possible after:

    • One year of post-high school study in an equivalent program
    • Review of academic record, motivational interview, and review of artistic portfolio
    • Entrance exam (creative approach to graphic design)

    Entry into the third year is possible after:

    • A level 5 qualification or equivalent in applied arts or communication
    • Review of academic record, motivational interview, and review of artistic portfolio

    Why ?

    To prepare students for careers in visual communication and graphic design. Students are trained in the strategic and technical management of a communication campaign and in creating a visual identity, thanks in particular to their advanced mastery of communication and digital tools (print graphic design, web design, illustration, photography, video, and motion design).

    • 2nd year: Advanced studies (8-week internship(s) at the end of the 1st and/or 2nd year)
