Photography workshop

The students at the Prépa Entertainment course in Toulouse have had the opportunity to discover the practice of photography. It's a beneficial exercise that allows them to begin to integrate important knowledge linked to the image industry.

Prépa Entertainment students were able to slip into the shoes of a photographer. The programme for this preparatory year includes a time dedicated to learning photography.

This art form has become almost commonplace thanks to the attractive price of modern cameras and the help of smartphones. It’s never been easier to take photos, but that doesn’t necessarily make us masters of photography. There are a number of concepts that need to be integrated in order to understand and grasp this art form.

To guide them along this path, they were accompanied by Rémi Carayon, professional photographer and teacher. For several years now, Rémi Carayon has been a photography teacher – as well as head of the 2nd year of the Practitioner Photographer section – at the ETPA school. This school shares the same building as ESMA Toulouse, both part of the network of creative schools, and is one of the pioneering schools for photography apprenticeships in France.

So it was a top-quality speaker who helped them discover how the camera works and revealed the mysteries of this art form.
