During design workshops, our students put their creativity to work against the rigours of standards and regulations.
Our practical and theoretical courses help them to overcome the difficulties encountered by professionals in the field by developing a way of thinking. Dealing with a customer request, taking a location into account, regulatory obligations..
Supervised by our teaching team, our students work with discipline on projects involving interior architecture, urban or landscape design, scenography or layout.
Designing spaces from existing sites, working on volumes, circulation, materials and light to meet market requirements.
History and psychology of perception to enrich individual space design projects.
Developing scientific knowledge to visualise practical space design objectives.
History of design, plastic arts and graphic arts, from 1850 to the present day.
Understanding the notion of space, volume practice (sculpture, model, installation in space, site-specific work).
Learning drawing techniques to enhance perception, schematise ideas and visualise thoughts and projects.
Develop oral fluency on a range of subjects relating to current affairs, culture, art and design.
Learning about evolving technologies and project methodology: research, making models, physical treatment of space, etc.
Learning about hardware, systems and software, and mastering the technological tools used in space planning.
Because there's no better way to learn a trade than to practise it, an 8-week internship is compulsory between the 1st and 2nd years. This is your chance to put the knowledge you've gained into practice, get hands-on experience, build your network and position yourself in the job market.
