Becoming an Illustration Concept Art professional

Taking part in a wide range of artistic projects in publishing (children’s, leisure, comics), communications (graphic design, motion design) and the audiovisual industry (film, animation, video games, etc.) is the daily routine for students on our Illustration Concept Art course.

Their objective? To develop a keen sense of aesthetics and detail, to bring to life worlds that are as vibrant as they are complete.
Their solid grounding in the fundamentals of the applied arts begins in the Design preparatory year.

Validation of the training by a Professional certification

The application for renewal of the qualification RNCP40590 Dessinateur illustrateur level 6, is currently being examined by France compétences.

Certifying bodies: Ecoles Créatives Montpellier.

Conditions for validation of the course:

Validation of 3 blocks of skills, 1 of which is optional :

  • 1 – Design a graphic design project
  • 2 – Produce illustrations (Illustration Option)

OR Carry out a concept art project (Concept art option)

  • 3 – Promote your activity as a designer and illustrator

 

The teaching and assessment methods can be adapted if there is a need to compensate for disability.
