This 5th year focuses entirely on producing a short 3D animated film as part of a team. Your project will be presented to a jury of international professionals, providing valuable exposure to the 3D animation and special effects industry.

This is your opportunity to showcase the skills you’ve mastered throughout your training—animation, modeling, lighting, rendering, and more—and let your work speak for itself.

What does the final year involve?

Bring Your 3D Animated Film to Life

In the final year of the Professional Cycle in 3D Animation & FX, you will work as part of a team to produce a short animated film—a key milestone in your training.

Our film will be presented to a panel of international professionals, offering you the chance to:

•Make a name for yourself in the 3D animation and entertainment industry.

•Build valuable industry connections and expand your network.

Assessment & Validation of certification

Validation of the training by a Professional Certification

RNCP37415 ‘Expert in Design and Production – 3D Animation and Special Effects’, level 7 (equivalent to Bac+5), registered on 27/03/2023.

Certifying bodies: ETPA-Ecoles Créatives, Ecoles Créatives Montpellier, Ecoles Créatives Nantes, Ecoles Créatives Lyon – Bordeaux, Ecoles Créatives Rennes.

Professional certification is obtained by validating the 3 skill blocks:

BLOCK 1 – Design the artistic development of a 3D animation and/or special effects film (pre-production)
BLOCK 2 – Organise the production of a 3D animation and/or special effects film
BLOCK 3 – Manage the production of a 3D animation and/or special effects film

The certification is also accessible via the VAE (accredited prior learning assessment).

The teaching and assessment methods can be adapted to compensate for any disability, in accordance with the RNCP reference framework.
