When you're a child, your bedroom is your very own place, your territory, your refuge, your kingdom of possibilities. The objects that make up this room become sources of inspiration and invention. It is this very familiar space that the students at Prépa Entertainment have appropriated to transform it into a perfect laboratory, a worthy reflection of children's creativity.
Bringing together the worlds of childhood and laboratories may seem unusual at first. But on closer inspection, not so much… The bedroom is the ideal place for children to test, discover, dream, research and experiment. Children reign over this room, which becomes their little world, arranged in such a way that it is a representation of their imagination, tastes, passions and inventiveness.
As part of the cross-disciplinary week being run on the Lyon campus on the theme of‘monsters‘, Professor Arnaud Quere gave the students at the Prépa Entertainment in Lyon a new exercise: to each draw a child’s bedroom transformed into a laboratory. But not just any laboratory, but that of a budding scientist who has decided to make toy monsters.
