Plastic expression workshop

The MANAA students at ESMA Nantes have been working with their art teacher Flavien Conilleau on a new project.

A new project

The idea was to take over an architectural space, in this case a corner between two walls, and to propose an artistic installation that dialogues with this space and/or modifies its perception.

The work was then produced in the form of a photograph and/or video. Each student was free to choose his or her own approach, but was also given guidance.

The teaching objective is to design and think about a volume on the scale of architecture.
