Work-study programs: a springboard to employment
Experience the areas that inspire you
At ESMA, we firmly believe that there is no better way to learn a trade than by doing it.
Because professional immersion is essential for a successful career start, our students have the opportunity to complete internships or apprenticeships depending on the programs they have chosen.
Training provided
When you are on an apprenticeship contract, the cost of training is fully covered by the company. Your apprentice status, available until the age of 29, entitles you to appropriate remuneration and benefits associated with employee status, such as social security, paid leave, and transportation assistance.

Your career advancement starts here
-
Apprenticeships : a flexible and tailored solution
Our work-study programs are designed in collaboration with industry professionals to best fit the constraints of companies and the realities of the professions taught.
Long periods in the workplace, ranging from several weeks to several months, allow work-study students to get truly involved in projects without interruption.
This organization also makes it possible to follow a project from conception to delivery.
Work-study programs thus strengthen ties with the team, allow students to gain autonomy, and face real-world challenges.
-
Internships : a gradual immersion
Throughout their training, students are required to complete one or more internships, the duration of which varies depending on the program they are enrolled in: 1 to 2 internships of at least 8 weeks are recommended depending on the program chosen.
These periods of immersion in a company allow them to put into practice the skills they have acquired and to gradually familiarize themselves with the professional world.
Once they graduate, they can benefit from additional internship agreements for a period of six months. This opportunity allows them to extend their work experience from July to December or to explore a new sector of activity.
Close collaboration with the most prestigious companies

Close to the professions
Choosing a work-study program means training in direct contact with the field:
- Combine theoretical instruction with hands-on immersion in a company
- Take part in real projects and follow assignments from start to finish
- Enhance your profile with recruiters by gaining significant experience
To find the work-study program that suits you, you benefit from a flexible regulatory framework: you have up to three months before the start of the program and up to two months after the end of exams to sign your contract, giving you plenty of time to find the right company for you.
Individualized support
Each work-study student receives personalized support throughout their program.
-
Support towards employment
Individual appointments, coaching, job interview preparation workshops, career conferences: everything is in place to prepare students for their professional integration.
-
A direct link to businesses
Thanks to a large network of partner companies, students have access to qualified work-study programs, participate in job fairs, and regularly meet professionals in the sector.
-
Personalized follow-up
In order to ensure an enriching professional experience, a mentor regularly monitors the student in the company and ensures the consistency and quality of the tasks assigned.
