ESMA is ending 2024 on a high note! Two graduation films, Trash and Dawn, have been selected to take part in the next edition of the Paris Images Digital Summit (PIDS) Enghien. These two short films will be competing in the "Best Student Film - VFX/CGI" competition, with results expected on 22 January 2025. A prestigious accolade for our 3D Animation and Special Effects students!

The PIDS Enghien: a key event for the digital world
Since its creation, the PIDS Enghien has established itself as a major event for professionals and enthusiasts of digital images. A benchmark event in the world of VFX and 3D creation, every year it celebrates the talent and innovations that are redefining the boundaries of the imagination.
For our students, being one of the finalists in the Best Student Film competition is an exceptional opportunity to showcase their work in front of renowned experts and connect with the industry.
Trash and Dawn: designs to keep an eye on
Trash and Dawn reflect the expertise and creativity of ESMA students. These two films, made as part of their final year projects, explore powerful visual worlds, supported by impressive special effects and captivating stories. Their selection for the PIDS is recognition of the excellence of the 3D Animation and Special Effects courses offered by ESMA.
