We live in a world of images
From the first scroll on social networks to our evening entertainment on the big (or small) screen, not to mention displays on streets, signs, transport… we are constantly in contact with artistic expressions.
From Guernica to Rabbids, from Star Wars special effects to the courage of Nemo, the impact of an idea, of a creation, or of a performance is global, lasting, and fundamental. It influences our conscience, our behavior, our desires, and our lives.
Artistic expression possesses the genuine power to disrupt reality, evoke pleasure, stimulate the imagination, spark debate, and create shared horizons. Beyond politics, finance, engineering and philosophy, art transforms our vision of the world.
Thus, pursuing an artistic profession is a serious endeavor, a vibrant mix of endless ideas and impeccable technical demands. Art is serious.
