ESMA offers two years of intensive training to give students a first hands-on experience of these artistic worlds, and to give them an idea of the high standards required during the course.
These essential years also enable students to acquire the essential skills and a sufficient level to be able to follow the courses in our higher cycles.

Design Prep
Discover the Prep DesignThe Design preparatory year offers intensive drawing practice in over 750 hours of classes during the year.
Students will be able to acquire all the theoretical and practical foundations they need before specialising in the design professions.
After this preparatory year, students can enter :
- The Professional Cycle in Multimedia Graphic Design
- The Professional Cycle in Interior Architecture
- The Professional Cycle in Concept Art Illustration

Prep Entertainment
Discover the Prep EntertainmentThe Entertainment Prep course provides students with a solid grounding in all aspects of the applied and visual arts.
This combination of theory and practice will give students access to our specialist courses in the cultural and creative industries.
This preparatory year is also available in English.
Students will be able to enter :
- The Professional Cycle in CG Animation & FX
- The Professional Cycle in Video Game
- The Professional Cycle in Concept Art Illustration
