Courses in CG animation, video game and graphic design recognised for their high level of excellence

ESMA’s Toulouse campus marked a new era for the school. Inaugurated in 2013, it was one of the first to fully realise the school’s educational ambitions and to invest heavily in cutting-edge equipment and software, thanks in particular to the 3D training offered at the Toulouse campus.

Its large classrooms, exhibition halls and amphitheatre, as well as its workshops and laboratories, are all assets that continue to bear witness to ESMA’s innovative vision and the quality of its infrastructure. It is within this framework that the school offers future professionals in the image and communication professions training recognised for its excellence, and a lifestyle conducive to creation, making ESMA a sure bet among specialist establishments.

At the heart of a breeding ground for companies in the cultural and creative industries!

  • Toulouse, a centre of innovation on a European scale !

For several decades now, Toulouse has been a key player in the new technologies sector. With its research centres, prestigious universities and engineering schools, and the European headquarters of Airbus, many economic and technological players have chosen to locate here.

This momentum extends to players in the creative industries: internationally renowned events (Cartoon Forum, Toulouse Game Show, etc.), the presence of large-scale animation studios such as TAT Production, the dynamism of audiovisual production, the visual arts, graphic design and communication, are all factors that confirm the central role played today by the Rose City as a centre of innovation where professional integration is favourable.

This provides a stimulating environment for students wishing to pursue higher education after the baccalaureate, like the students at ESMA Toulouse, who will be able to take full advantage of it to launch a brilliant and promising career.

  • A city that breathes culture

When it comes to culture and leisure, Toulouse has a thriving offer for students. In a city renowned for its walks along the Canal du Midi and its rich cultural calendar, they will enjoy wandering around the historic centre, strolling along the Place du Capitole, or visiting the museums and other emblematic sites of the city.

Throughout the year, numerous events liven up the cultural scene and reinforce Toulouse’s image as a centre of attraction: the Siestes Électroniques, the Printemps du Rire and the Mêlée Numérique are just some of the opportunities to meet, exchange and share ideas that fuel the city’s effervescence. These events are sometimes synonymous with collaborations for ESMA students, who play an active part in local events, showing off their talent, their resources and all the richness they have to offer !

  • An optimal location

Close to the Pyrenees and Spain, two hours from the Mediterranean coast, and not far from the Atlantic Ocean and the Basque Country, Toulouse boasts an ideal location. This location gives the city a unique energy, which is evident in every aspect of local life.

ESMA students appreciate this effervescence and do not hesitate to draw on it to broaden their horizons, find inspiration and nurture their creativity.

This dynamic environment is particularly favourable to the development of professional networks, employment and career development. Students can develop their professional projects, whether in the field of 3D animation & vfx through design, modelling and 3D printing, in artistic direction in the field of graphic design, in the field of communication through digital arts or graphic design. They can also specialise in areas related to video games through the design and development of production software, for example.

  • An extensive transport network, ideal for students

With an extremely extensive network – including two metro lines, two tramway lines, a vast network of buses and metropolitan shuttles, the longest cable car in France and an ever-expanding network of self-service bicycles – Toulouse’s public transport system rivals those of France’s biggest cities.

ESMA Toulouse students can easily rely on these different options to get around quickly and efficiently on a daily basis. Just a few minutes’ walk from the campus, they can take several bus routes, easily reach the city centre and take advantage of all that Toulouse has to offer.
