Entertainment Prep
Discover Entertainment PrepThis preparatory year, which is accessible after high school, is intended for students who wish to learn the different creative processes and the technical fundamentals of the world of images through the practice of drawing.
The objective is that at the end of this first year, you will have the opportunity to follow a course in one of the following subjects: 3D Animation and Special Effects, Video Games or Concept Art Illustration, all validated by an RNCP qualification.
Also available in English for foreign students, you can then continue with the 3D Animation and Special Effects course in English.

Design Prep
Discover Design PrepThe preparatory year in design, available at post-secondary level, allows students to deepen their knowledge of the world of design while promoting artistic practice.
During this preparatory year, they will be able to acquire the necessary foundations to evolve in a demanding creative environment.
Combining both general knowledge and targeted skills in applied arts, this preparatory year will prepare you in the best possible way to continue your studies in one of our following courses: Graphic Design Multimedia, Interior Architecture or Illustration Concept Art, all validated by an RNCP qualification.

Learn how to create, design and organise each stage of making an animated film, from pre-production to post-production, while refining your expertise in a chosen speciality, including innovative technologies such as 3D printing.
In 5 years, you will have obtained a Master’s level qualification in the design and production of 3D&VFX animation films. You will have mastered all the artistic and technical skills essential to excel in the entertainment industry and become the creatives of tomorrow, ready to take on the challenges of the sector in positions of responsibility.

Training Video Game
Discover the trainingThis course trains students to design, develop and produce professional-quality video games.
Over the course of 4 years, you will alternate between theoretical lessons, practical workshops and group projects, with personalised support throughout the course.
You will gain a mastery of technical, artistic, creative and project management skills through the group design of a complete video game, under the same conditions as a real development studio.

Training Graphic Design
Discover the trainingTraining in graphic design enables students to acquire the essential skills to manage the entire creation and deployment of the production chain of a graphic design project, right through to its promotion.
Over the course of three years, they develop their management and creative skills to successfully complete projects in a professional manner, while learning to adapt to market demands, particularly in the digital sector.
In their final year, students can specialise in Digital Communication or Motion Design, to strengthen their expertise in a specific field, such as visual communication or pure graphic design.

Training Interior Architecture
Discover the trainingThis five-year course, which leads to an RNCP level 7 qualification, will prepare you to become a true interior designer, training you to design aesthetic and sustainable living spaces, while developing a creative, immersive and professional approach.
You will learn to analyse the needs of a project, develop its technical design and organise its execution with precision.

Discover the trainingOver the course of three years, this course will allow you to unleash your creativity while mastering the techniques of professional drawing.
If you dream of combining art and storytelling to bring unique concepts to life, while developing your own vision as an artistic director, you’ve come to the right place.
Whether through illustration or concept art, you will learn to design captivating projects and to professionalise your practice to promote your activity within communication agencies as a graphic designer, the entertainment industry, companies in the entertainment industry or even comic books.

On the ESMA Montpellier campus, the Artémisia student residence – located in the same building as the school – offers 353 fully furnished and equipped flats. From studios to 2-bedroom flats, these homes are perfectly suited to our students, who find a quick, practical and comfortable accommodation solution.
The accommodation is primarily intended for students from the Creative Schools that share this campus – ESMA, CinéCréatis & ETPA – with a view to facilitating their integration and settling in and promoting their academic success.
On a day-to-day basis, the residence’s tenants have all the essentials for their comfort (sofa bed, dining table, television, fully-equipped kitchenette, office area, etc.), and can take advantage of a wide range of practical services such as a cleaning service, laundry and even breakfast.

Free public transport from 2023!
The best student city means an efficient transport network! Montpellier was the first major city in France to introduce free public transport. Montpellier is a forerunner in innovative urban development.
The city also boasts an ever-expanding tram network, providing easy access to the seaside resort of Palavas-les-Flots and major infrastructure such as the GGL Stadium.
