Discover the PrepThe Entertainment preparatory year, accessible to post-baccalaureate students, offers an in-depth immersion in the world of the visual arts, combining artistic exploration and technical learning.
It is a key stage in mastering the fundamentals needed to pursue a course in 3D Animation and Special Effects, Video Games or Concept Art Illustration.
Available in English, it is also aimed at international students who will be able to continue their studies in 3D Animation and Special Effects in English.

3D Animation & FX Program
Discover trainingThis course invites you to explore the entire creative and production process of animation. You will learn how to design projects artistically, from the initial idea to the final phase, bringing unique and captivating worlds to life.
This course prepares you to organise and structure the production stages of an animated film, while mastering the tools needed for each phase.
On completion of the course, you will be able to play a full part in the design of a film, coordinating the technical and artistic aspects to produce a work of professional quality.
This course is also available in English for foreign students.

ESMA Bordeaux welcomes its students to a 12,500m² campus
ESMA Bordeaux provides a learning environment designed to meet the goals of its students and the needs of the creative industries.
Opened in 2023 in Bordeaux’s evolving Euratlantique district, the campus focuses on eco-responsibility and social inclusion, offering students a supportive space for both personal and professional growth.
With modern classrooms, high-tech tools, a fitness room, and green spaces like terraces and gardens, the campus is built to help students succeed in 3D animation and video game design.

Student accommodation

The Artemisia student residence is located at the heart of the ESMA Bordeaux campus.
The building, designed with eco-design and good living in mind, offers no fewer than 307 flats, reserved primarily for students at the ESMA and CinéCréatis creative schools.
To meet the daily needs of students, each flat – with an average surface area of 18m² – includes a kitchenette, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave and all the cooking equipment required.
A comfortable and friendly living environment
The rest of the accommodation includes a bed, television, desk and plenty of storage space for comfortable, functional living.
The common areas of the Artemisia Bordeaux residence are not to be outdone: as well as being able to take advantage of the fitness area, which is open to all, residents also have privileged access to the shared vegetable garden and the green terrace, which offers a place to relax and get together.
