What is the Responsible Creators Charter?

In order to guarantee every student an inclusive, supportive learning environment that is conducive to personal development, the Creative Schools Network is implementing a series of concrete actions to promote the values of respect, equal opportunities, and commitment.

Because cultural and creative industries shape how we see the world, it’s super important that the people who work in them are trained in a way that reflects these issues.

Diversity and Inclusion

A learning environment based on kindness, respect, and safety

Each member of the Creative Schools Network (students, teachers, and collaborators) is committed to fostering a climate of mutual respect.

Relationships within the school are governed by the Creative Schools Network’s ethical charter: courtesy, kindness, protection of privacy, and respect for opinions.

Any form of humiliation, intrusion, offensive language, or ambiguity in exchanges is strictly prohibited. Any discriminatory, harassing, or violent behavior is prohibited.

Dress and behavior must remain respectful of the educational setting and may not display religious, philosophical, or political affiliations. Hazing, in any form, is prohibited.

In addition, a reporting system is in place and is handled rigorously by the management of each institution.

Ethics and professional conduct

The Creative Schools Network trains committed professionals who are aware of their role in transforming collective imaginations. Its ethical charter, shared by the entire educational community (students, teachers, external contributors, administrative staff), affirms a common commitment to more equitable, inclusive, accessible, and sustainable creation.

This stance is embodied in several concrete commitments:

  • The transmission of ethical values, respect, and kindness from the moment students enter the institution, supported by the ethical charter of the Creative Schools network
  • Attention to the diversity of perspectives, identities, and backgrounds in educational content, projects, and campus life
  • Raising awareness of social issues: addressed through educational projects, conferences, and collective or institutional actions throughout the school year
  • The fight against all forms of pressure, mockery, exclusion, or harassment
  • The promotion of healthy competition based on emulation, solidarity, and mutual aid
  • Respect for intellectual property and academic honesty: combating plagiarism and promoting integrity in projects
  • Encouraging a responsible attitude towards environmental and societal issues, integrated into creative projects

passport for personal and professional support

Bloom device

Rolled out from the first year until graduation, the Bloom program is a real educational and reflective passport that supports each student throughout their studies.

Designed to promote the overall development of students, it focuses on two main areas : the acquisition of essential behavioral skills and the gradual development of a solid career plan.

  • étudiants de l'esma

A foundation of human and civic skills

Bloom aims to develop self-awareness, civic engagement, and harmonious coexistence. This is achieved through conferences, workshops, and events throughout the year on a variety of topics (self-esteem, group dynamics, diversity and inclusion, sustainable development, etc.).

Collective actions organized with student associations also help to create a supportive environment on a daily basis.

  • Professional posture through practice

Through team-based educational projects, real-world collaborations with companies and institutions, and supervised internships, students are exposed to the realities of the professional world.

This active learning approach allows behavioral skills (such as independence, communication, stress management, and adaptability) to be reinforced through practical experience.

Building a coherent and informed plan for the future

Bloom also supports students in developing their career paths: knowledge of the target sector, networking, career meetings, interview preparation, visibility via the Alumni platform, etc.

All these actions aim to enhance employability and future fulfillment.

Creative Schools Lab

An opening to research-creation with the Lab

Complementing the Bloom program, the Creative Schools Lab offers a space for intellectual and artistic exploration to understand the role of creative industries in addressing contemporary challenges.

Composed of researchers in the humanities and arts, as well as creators, the Lab conducts interdisciplinary applied research around a central theme: the creative industries’ responses to societal challenges, whether ecological, inclusive, or technological.

This dialogue between artistic practice and critical reflection serves to enhance the quality of the programs.

Students are fully involved in this dynamic through participation in experimental projects, seminars, study days, meetings with experts, and more.

This immersion in research and creation nourishes their thinking, stimulates their creativity, and refines their professional perspective. It is a concrete way of linking personal commitment, demanding training, and contribution to society.

Accessibility and disability

A strong commitment to inclusion and accessibility

Each campus has a disability advisor responsible for supporting students with disabilities or special needs, whether temporary or permanent. Support includes:

  • Clear information prior to enrollment
  • An individualized assessment of accommodation needs
  • The implementation of specific accommodations during the program (support materials, equipment, extra time, etc.) in collaboration with professors
  • Support for internships and professional integration
  • Liaison with external partners (MDPH, AGEFIPH, disability associations, Cap Emploi, families, employers, etc.)

This system complies with legal requirements, in particular the law of September 5, 2018, and the Qualiopi quality standard, and is supported by a network of locally available resources.

Les Ecoles Créatives also ensures that all its sites comply with accessibility standards (PMR).

Support and well-being

Concrete measures to support each student

  • dispositif bien être

    An equal opportunity policy

In order to guarantee access to training for as many people as possible, Creative Schools implement a proactive support policy, with assistance measures designed to respond to a wide range of personal, social, and economic situations.

One such measure is LESPRY, the Creative Schools Endowment Fund, created on the initiative of Creative Schools leaders.

A private, independent, non-profit organization, its mission is to support students and young professionals on their path to careers in the cultural and creative industries (CCI).
Each year, between €150,000 and €200,000 in scholarships are awarded, enabling many talented individuals to continue their studies in good conditions.

In addition, the Creative Schools Network offers a 10% discount on tuition fees for each member of the same family enrolled in a Creative School, starting with the second child enrolled.

All financial aid is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, in consultation with the academic advisor of the campus concerned, in order to provide a personalized and fair response to each situation.

A focus on health and well-being

The Creative Schools Network strives to offer its students living conditions conducive to learning and personal development. Among the services offered :

    • Meal assistance card in areas without university dining facilities (distant CROUS university restaurants)
    • Free health checkups in conjunction with CPTS (territorial professional health communities)
    • Screening and health support (STDs, dental, etc.)
    • Participation in the MENTALO study on mental health among 11-24 year olds (in collaboration with INSERM)

In line with this comprehensive approach to well-being, the Creative Schools Network has launched three concrete initiatives this year in partnership with CROUS : a collaborative vegetable garden, designed as a place for relaxation and social interaction; workshops on stress management and self-confidence; and training in first aid.

These projects illustrate a shared desire to make schools places where students learn to create, but also to live better, together.
