His three years of training in 3D Animation gave him the skills he needed to enter the world of work. He graduated in 2009 and directed the short film Luminoir.
For seven years, he worked in London at the MPC studio (Mocing Picture Company). Hired as Lead Creature FX, Mathieu worked his way up to CG Supervisor. He now works in Montreal
With his team, he is responsible for simulating the clothes, hair and muscles of the characters and creatures in many of the studio’s feature films to make them as realistic as possible.
He has worked on the latest Harry Potter episodes, as well as Life of Pi, X-Men, The Revenant, Wonderwoman, Pirates of the Caribbean 5…
